About Woodlyn
In 2012, I went to my first AKC Hunt Test in Chester, South Carolina and was introduced to several different pointing breeds. Shortly after, I got my first German Shorthaired Pointer, Daisy from Bayville Shorthairs. I fell in love with the outgoing and eager temperament of the breed. Throughout college, I began training Daisy for AKC Hunt Tests with her breeder, Scott Edwards, and I owner-handled her to her Master Hunter Title in 2018.
I co-bred Daisy in 2017 and kept a beautiful solid liver bitch, Tink, who would become my first conformation show dog. Tink was selectively shown and exclusively handled by Lydia Frey to her Championship and then onto Grand Championship. I bred Tink in 2021, which produced an infamous litter of 19 puppies and began my kennel name of Woodlyn.
As of June 2025, Tink has been awarded a Record of Merit with the GSPCA. This would not have been possible without my fabulous co-owners, who not only give our dogs fantastic lives but also allow them opportunities to shine in various venues.
My goal is to promote the German Shorthaired Pointer breed and see it continue to thrive with health tested, good tempered, and purposefully bred dogs.
